Cypress is mostly unincorporated Harris County stitched together by MUDs and master-planned communities — no single city hall, but plenty of HOA review boards. We know which ones require pre-approval on roofing colors and which ones just want the paperwork filed.
Photo-documented, no cost, no pressure to file.
Permits and HOA or covenant review, filed before the crew shows up.
Texas-registered. Written scope before anything starts.
Permits & approvals
Most of Cypress is unincorporated. Routine reroofing on an existing home generally doesn't require a county building permit — but floodplain rules along Cypress Creek still apply.
Many Cypress neighborhoods sit in municipal utility districts that run their own plan review for exterior work. We confirm yours before we start.
Towne Lake, Bridgeland, Fairfield and the other master-planned communities enforce strict roofing material and color standards. We submit for approval before ordering material so the roof passes the first time.
Homes near the creek sit in mapped floodplain. We check your flood zone before planning any structural or decking work.
Where we work in Cypress
Cy-Fair ISD across 77429 and 77433.
On the roof
Cypress takes some of the hardest hail in Harris County. We document bruising early for your adjuster — before it becomes a leak.
Fast-growth phases went up quickly: missing kick-out flashing, under-driven nails, shortcuts at the valleys. We find them during inspection and fix them on replacement.
Master-planned homes run multiple valleys, dormers and dead valleys — more flashing points, more places to leak. We re-flash them properly on every replacement.
We do the roof and the drywall, paint, flooring and bathroom rebuild underneath it. On a water-damage job that means one contractor answering for the whole repair instead of two trades blaming each other.
What we do in Cypress
Most storm jobs touch more than the roof. Keeping it under one crew means no finger-pointing between trades and one point of contact for you.

Tear-off to the deck, then new architectural shingles, ridge vent and flashing.

Dated cabinets and counters out, new stone-look counters in — without gutting the whole room.
Safer bathing with a tile surround that looks like a high-end bath, not a hospital.
Walk-in tile shower with stone-look porcelain and a glass mosaic niche.
Aging-in-place details — fold-down seat and grab-bar blocking — without the institutional look.
